About us

Zora Balzar stands for sustainable and ethically produced underwear from Europe.

Minimal design. Vinatge inspired hues. Ultra comfortable. Toxic free garments.

We produce in small batches to avoid overproduction and exclusively in Europe for shorter transportation. Our designs are made in Berlin, the fabric is knitted in Lithuania from GOTS-certified organic cotton. Our manufacturer is currently the only textile manufacturer in the world to meet the Greenpeace standards. Dyeing processes have been awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. So there are no concerns for you or our waters to be polluted by heavy metals, chemicals and other pollutants. The fabric is then sent to Portugal to be sewn in a family-run business with fair payment.

Zora Balzar was founded by Magdalena in Berlin. Together with Bentja, the two are now selling their dream underwear for every day.

During her first pregnancy, Magdalena discovered her love of high-waisted panties and was always searching for a cool version of the "granny pants". Sustainablity in everday life is a major concern for the two mothers. To minimize our impact as entrepeneurs we exclusively ship plastic-free in grass paper bags.

Magdalena lives with her little daughter and husband in Berlin, Bentja with her family in Wendland.

Our goal is to responsibly produce timeless, high-quality garments.

We hope you enjoy wearing Zora Balzar as much as we do and looking forward to any feedback, questions or requests.
